Toshihiko Sato

Toshihiko Sato is a Japanese animator, producer, and director. He began his career in the animation industry during the mid-1970s, working as an animator before transitioning into an executive producer role.

Sato, along with fellow Japanese artists, co-founded the anime studio “Ashi Productions” on December 24, 1975. This studio, situated in Suginami, Tokyo, gained popularity for its four magical girl anime series, notably “Magical Princess Minky Momo.” In November 2007, the studio changed its name to “Production Reed Co., Ltd.”
