TBS Holdings

TBS Holdings, Inc., formerly known as Tokyo Broadcasting System Holdings, Inc., is a Japanese media and broadcasting company. It owns TBS Television, Inc. (TBS), a TV network, and TBS Radio, Inc., a radio network. TBS is part of the Mitsui keiretsu and has close ties with The Mainichi Newspapers Co., even though they don’t own any shares. They have produced popular shows like Takeshi’s Castle and aired the Ultra Series and Sasuke (Ninja Warrior), which inspired similar programs worldwide.
