Studio Gokumi

Tomonori Shibata, the producer of GONZO, established their own company along with former Studio 5 staff, known for “Strike Witches” and “Saki” [1]. The studio is located in Suginami Ward, next to ufotable’s headquarters [2]. They began as the main contractor for “Koede Oshigoto!

The Animation” and later created their first original animation, “Yuki Yuna is a Hero,” in 2014. Additionally, they took over production of the “Saki” series from their time at GONZO. They previously worked in the same building as AXsiZ (formerly 2nd Studio) and currently collaborate through joint production and subcontracting.
