Studio 4 °C has produced a variety of films, OVAs, and shorts, including notable titles like Memories (1995), Spriggan (1998), and Princess Arete (2001). They collaborated with Warner Bros. in 2003 to create segments for The Animatrix, and the next year they made the award-winning film Mind Game.

Their film Tekkon Kinkreet (2006) won multiple awards, including Best Animated Film at Fantasia 2007. They also released Genius Party (2007), Genius Party Beyond (2008), Gotham Knight (2008), and Detroit Metal City (2008). First Squad: The Moment of Truth received recognition at the Moscow International Film Festival in 2009. They contributed two shorts to Halo Legends in 2010: “Origins” and “The Babysitter.”
