Shogakukan-Shueisha Productions

ShoPro is a Tokyo-based subsidiary of Shogakukan, Shueisha, and Hakuensha. Established in 1967 as Shogakukan Productions, it licenses and merchandises IPs held by its parent company. Today, ShoPro operates three core business segments: media, educational development, and business development.

In 2008, Shogakukan Productions became Shogakukan-Shueisha Productions with investments from Shueisha and later from Hakusensha. This allowed them to expand into the overseas marketplace and streamline their operations.
