Shirogumi

Shirogumi Inc., a member of The Association of Japanese Animations, is a Japanese company that focuses on producing animated series, feature films, and visual effects. It was founded by Tatsuo Shimamura in 1973 as Tatsuo studio, which later evolved into Shirogumi Inc.

They’re known for their computer graphics and VFX technology, which they used to create original live-action films like Juvenile and Returner. Their headquarters is located in Aoyama, Minato, Tokyo, with a sub-studio in Chōfu, Tokyo, and other sub-studios throughout the city. In 2004, they partnered with Human Holdings Co., Ltd. to establish the Shirogumi Human Studio in Takadanobaba, Shinjuku, aiming to develop human resources.
