Satelight

Satelight, Inc. is a Japanese animation studio known for producing the Aquarion, Symphogear, and Macross franchises. It was founded in 1995 in Sapporo, Hokkaido and later moved its headquarters to Tokyo in 2006. The studio’s Representative Director is Michiaki Satō, and anime director Shōji Kawamori serves as a Special Adviser. Their name, Satelight, stands for Sapporo, Animate, Technology, and Entertainment.
