Ashi Productions

Ashi Productions Co., Ltd. is a Japanese animation production company founded in 1975 by Toshihiko Sato and Hiroshi Kato. They started the company at the request of Takemi, a toy company.

Initially, they faced challenges in securing broadcast slots and had to borrow Nippon Animation’s billboard for their first three works. Later, they co-produced four works with Kokusai Eigasha and became an independent production starting with “Sengoku Majin Goshogun.” Ashi Productions is a regular member of the Japan Animation Association.
