Anime NYC

Anime NYC is an annual three-day anime convention held at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City. It offers a variety of programming including arcade games, artist alley, concerts, manga library, masquerade, panels, screenings, vendors, and video/card games.

The convention is organized by LeftField Media, the creators of New York Comic Con, and has expanded over the years. In 2020, a virtual event was hosted due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but it returned in 2021 with COVID-19 safety measures in place. The convention gained media attention in 2021 after reports of attendees testing positive for the Omicron variant of SARS-CoV-2.
