A friend introduced Spirited Away to them, leaving them amazed by its imaginative world. This marked their entry into the realm of anime, leading to a passion for manga, Asian dramas, studying Japanese, and planning multiple trips to Japan. In college, they discovered Azumanga Daioh, their first anime series and a lifelong favorite. Since then, they have explored various genres that expanded their understanding of animated art and storytelling.
