Actas Inc Studios

Actas Inc. is a Japanese animation studio founded in 1998. It became a subsidiary of Bandai Namco Filmworks, which is itself a subsidiary of Bandai Namco Holdings. Hiroshi Katō and Jūtarō Ōba, both former employees of Tatsunoko Production and Ashi Productions, established Actas. After Katō’s passing in 2009, Shunpei Maruyama took over as company president. In July 2017, Actas merged with its subsidiary animation studio Karaku. In September 2017, Actas was acquired by Bandai Visual.
